Coming from a hip-hop and dancehall background, Douster started producing music more than 10 years ago but it’s in 2009 that his mix of house, hip-hop and global bass music caught the ears of industry trendsetters .
4 years of releases on labels such as Mad Decent, Sound Pellegrino, Dim Mak, Main Course… collaborations with L.A. top producer Diplo, swedish pop princess Robynor Chilean Rappers Zonora Pointand widely acclaimed remixes for
the likes of Crookers, Ruskoand Yolanda Be Cool gave Douster a solid international notoriety amongst the Electronic Music scene .
During these years, Douster played all over the world, from sweaty south – american clubs to huge international festivals. He always have the sense to entertain crowd, with his dj sets combining a wide range of bass music, mixing brand new
house, world ghetto music, and classic 80s electronic funk .
In 2014, he teamed up with young Australian producer Swick for the Internet Dreams EP, a conceptual piece that takes the listener for a trip around the 2 producers vision of the World Wide Web.
He Released his new EP at the end of 2014 on the Parisian label [re]sources,
4 tracks of functional Club Music, supported by masters of the genre like Sound Pellegrino or Feadz. The release came out with a web experiment / video game where the listener is invited to take part in a frenetic race through the 4 songs from
the EP .
For the occasion, he also did a guest mix on Ninja Tune’s own Solid Steel Radio Show for an hour of deep exploration of his musical universe.
Douster has played in international festivals such as Coachella (US), Dour Festival (Belgium), Melt Festival (Germany), Nuits Sonores (France), Igloofest (Canada)… Club
all over Europe, North America, South America and Australia .
His music has been featured through interviews and focuses on magazines like The Fader, Xlr8r (US) , Clark Magazine, Be Street, Trax (FR) and all over the blogosphere.
